Read more...Foster Care is a home for young people to stay when there are problems in their own family. There are lots of reasons why young people need foster families. This could be because their parents are not well, or it might be that they have problems that they need some help with. Some young people can live with other family members but when this isn’t possible foster families are available to help.
Some young people stay with foster families for a few days and others might be with their foster families for a longer time, this all depends on what problems there are at home. However you come to be living with your foster family, everyone understands that living with a family you don’t know can be worrying and upsetting.
